NEW LOW-PROFILE DESIGN! Originally built at the behest of SIG’s semi-pro shooter Erik Lund, our SIG 226/X5 floorplate brings your mag capacity out to the maximum allowed in USPSA’s Limited division. This system uses your factory magazine spring and follower, just replace the floorplate and locking system with ours, and you’re good to go! If you look closely at the pictures, the retention screw comes up from THE BOTTOM, where one can put a decent-size head on the screw. Since this grew out of Mr. Gallion’s suggestion (over dinner one night), we call this the “G-Post” retention system. WARNING: Does not fit into SIG X5’s with the factory magwell – not without a lot of grinding at any rate! Due to U.S. State Department restrictions, we cannot ship this part internationally.
