Made in the USA, the Magpul MOE SL Hand Guard is a mid-length replacement for AR-15/M4 platform rifles designed to provide modular accessory mounting while minimizing weight. Reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction incorporates an integral riveted aluminum heat shield to protect hands from gas block heat without the mass of an all-aluminum rail. M-LOK slots at the 2, 6 and 10 oclock positions accept direct-attach accessories or optional Picatinny sections to support lights, grips, and slings. The unit is intended for use with an A2 front sight assembly and installs using a round front hand guard retaining cap and a spring-loaded delta ring.
